Search begins for new EDA director

After only 16 months, Elliot Culp is leaving a bit of a legacy and a big workload for his successor.
Culp, who joined the city staff in February 2015 as the new economic development director, is leaving the post later this summer.
“Whomever fills this position will have to hit the ground running,” he said.
The Economic Development Authority is involved in a number of development projects in various stages of fruition.
