Sidewalk planning underway in Lake City
At its Dec. 10 meeting, the Lake City City Council heard an update on sidewalk planning work undertaken by the city’s planning commission.
Sidewalk planning was on the commission’s 2018 work plan. Although no recommendations were before the council at the meeting, Planning and Community Development Director Megan Smith said she was providing an update to make sure there was support for the effort on the council.
She summarized the work that had taken place so far. First they created a map of existing sidewalk and trails in Lake City.
