Snow Blows: Blizzard closes school, highway

The aftermath of a weekend blizzard left Highway 63 between Lake City and Zumbro Falls closed until Tuesday afternoon, Lake City public schools closed Monday and Tuesday, and city streets and parks crews digging out yet again.
At Monday’s School Board Meeting, Supt. Erick Enger went over the funding math with the board.
While the state calculations are more complex, basically schools are required to have 165 school days to receive full funding, he said.
