Statewide officer shortage could be felt in Lake City

With the hire of Nick Sievers as a full time officer, Lake City Police Department has exhausted its candidate list.
“The current candidate list is now ended, and we will need to make a new one soon,” Lake City Police Sgt. Bill Weist said.
But that might pose a challenge.
