Teacher contract approved
The Lake City School District and the Lake City Education Association (LCEA), its teacher union, have agreed to a new two-year contract (2023-25) for the district’s teachers, according to a joint news release issued by the school district and union.
Terms of the contract include:
• A 5% increase in the base salary for teachers in the first year of the agreement and a 3% increase in the second year of the agreement.
• An increase of $1,000 in the district contribution for HSA/HRA single and family healthcare coverage
