Three Lake City firms look at expansion
The City of Lake City stands ready to support three local manufacturers who are looking at expanding local facilities.
Hearth and Home Technologies, Pepin Manufacturing and Engineering Laboratory Design (ELD) all are looking at plant expansion within the next two years.
While some of the plans for the expansions are still tentative, the city is going ahead with plans to consider tax increment financing (TIF) on all three projects.
The city already had set a May 9 hearing date for a TIF hearing for Hearth and Home Technologies.
