Toastmasters discuss Ides of March
Plain-Ly Speaking Toastmasters club members met on Tuesday, March 8, at St. Joachim’s Educational Building in Plainview.
The theme of the meeting was “Beware the Ides of March” and Toastmaster for the evening was Vicki Chelf-Lawrence, who pointed out the many happenings this month – the beginning of spring, daylight savings time, March madness, unreliable weather, politics, Saint Patrick’s day, Easter, and an upcoming speech contest to look forward to, to name a few.
