Tornado drill part of Severe Weather Awareness Week

Because severe weather can threaten the lives and property of Minnesotans at any time, Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed April 9-13 as Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Wabasha County will mark this week with two tornado drills on Thursday, April 12, one at 1:45 p.m. for businesses, and the other at 6:55 p.m. for families at home, to practice going to a safe place.
