Townships hold meetings, elections

Area townships joined others from around the state for annual meetings March 9 on what the Minnesota Association of Townships has dubbed “Township Day.” Many held officer elections as well. Below are results reported by clerks in some area townships.

Florence Township

Mike Blair was re-elected supervisor with 50 votes. Tom Gnotke was re-elected treasurer with 51 votes. The 2022 levy was set at $489,881, a 5.87 percent increase.
