Trailers on the move at Marina Point

The scene is being set for construction at Ohuta Park.

The process of moving seven vacation trailers from along the inner harbor to newly constructed sites on Marina Point began on Friday of last week, according to Megan Smith, Planning and Community Engagement Director for the City of Lake City.

“The water levels/flood risk has been cooperative so we were able to move the trailers about two weeks earlier than expected,” she said. “That was originally planned for the end of April.”
