Training planned on sexual assault

A 40-hour certification training is being offered for prospective volunteers for HOPE Coalition’s Sexual Assault Services Program. Once certified by the State of Minnesota, volunteer advocates serve survivors of sexual assault and abuse in Goodhue and Wabasha counties and their families in a variety of capacities.
The training session will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for three consecutive weeks starting on Oct. 3 and ending on Oct. 22. Snacks, and lunch on Saturdays will be provided.
