Two appeal county salary raises

In action taken at their regular meeting on Dec. 13, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners voted 4-1 to retain outside legal counsel for the 2017 salary appeals for County Attorney Karrie Kelly and Auditor/Treasurer Denise Anderson. This meeting was short and began at 4 p.m. in order to accommodate the Truth and Taxation Meeting at 6 p.m. All commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
