Two file for mayor, five for city council

Five people are running for three city council seats and two are running for mayor in Lake City.
Candidate filing for the Nov. 3 election ended Tuesday, June 2.
John Redmond is challenging incumbent Mark Nichols for the office of mayor. Nichols ran unopposed four years ago.
