Updated: Lake Pepin floods, crest expected to be over 19 feet

Flooding has already closed roads, boat launches, interrupted utilities, and deposited debris along the shore in Lake City with water levels forecast to keep rising into the weekend.

Lake Pepin river levels hit 16 feet—the lower threshhold of Minor Flood Stage—on Sunday, April 16, according to the National Weather Service.
