Vaccinations accelerating at Lake City schools

All of the staff at Lake City Public Schools who want to receive the COVID-19 vaccine have had at least one dose, according to Supt. Erick Enger.

Wabasha County, which has supplied most of the vaccine for district staff, “really cranked it up,” he said, and as a result the district is ahead of where he expected it to be in terms of vaccinations.

Some staff members have even received second doses, he said, but many will receive theirs on March 25 and 31.
