Wabasha asks county for help with road project

The Wabasha County Board of Commissioners heard a request from the City of Wabasha to contribute more to a project to upgrade roads in the city in exchange for the city assuming jurisdiction of those roads.

All commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Attorney Karrie Kelly. Also present were City Mayor Emily Durand, City Administrator Caroline Gregerson, City Engineer Brian Malm, City Council member and former County Engineer Craig Falkum, City Streets Commissioner Tony Johnson and others.
