Wabasha Commissioners deny petition regarding proposed Elgin agronomy center

Following presentations on both sides an application for a conditional use permit by Progressive Ag to move their fertilizer plant from Plainview to Elgin, the County Board voted 4-1 last Tuesday to deny a request by over 200 petitioners for an environmental assessment worksheet (EAW) for the proposed project.
