Wabasha County: Auditor/Treasurer departs for Rice County
Wabasha County Auditor/Treasurer Denise Anderson has announced her resignation, effective May 24.
“May 24 will be my last day,”Anderson said during a conversation last week in her office. “I’ll be in Rice County starting May 28.”
Anderson said that she had accepted a position as Property Tax Administrator and Election Director for Rice County in Faribault.
“A great opportunity presented itself in Rice County. And, really, I was ready for change. But basically, I’ll be doing much of the same duties as I did here,” she said.
