Wabasha County Board denies union grievance

The Wabasha County Board of Commissioners denied a union grievance in a brief meeting June 27.

All commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and Assistant County Attorney Jake Barnes.

In line with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement with the courthouse union, the board heard the outline of a grievance filed by former county employee Teryl Scharpen. Union representative Mary Scoon presented the grievance.
