Wabasha County Commissioners on Feb. 20 approved a contract proposal by Construction Management Services (CMS) of Rochester to provide building inspection services within the county.
The County’s Zoning Enforcement Committee had considered contract proposals by CMS - the current provider - and MNSPECT, a building inspection company based in Waconia, and recommended the services of MNSPECT.
A motion by Don Springer and seconded by Mike Wobbe to stay with CMS passed 3-2. Rick Powers and Cheryl Key voted against the motion.
