Wabasha County Commissioners debate road acquisition
In a meeting where highway matters were major items on the agenda, Wabasha County commissioners staked opposing positions on a road transfer request.
Commissioner Mike Wobbe was absent from the February 21st meeting. All other commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly. County Engineer Dietrich Flesch was present for input.
Flesch requested Board approval to move forward with discussion with Plainview Township for potential transfer of a segment of 550th Street to the County.
