Wabasha County levy hike drops to 3 percent
In action taken at their end-of-the-year meeting on Dec. 26, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved adoption of the final 2020 Property Tax Levy at $15,489,448, showing an increase over 2019 of 3.0.
Commissioner Rich Hall was absent. County Administrator Brian Buhmann and County Attorney Karrie Kelly were present. Finance Director Deb Koenig was also present and introduced the final action financial items for board approval, all of which passed unanimously without further discussion.
