Wabasha County looks at buying solar garden power

In order to learn more about solar energy and community solar gardens, the Wabasha County Board heard a presentation by Gordy Simanton and Joe DeVito of Solar Stone to learn what they have to offer and how it would meet the County’s energy needs and save them some money, as well.

Commissioners Mike Wobbe and Don Springer were absent. Board Chair Rich Hall, Brian Goihl and Cheryl Key were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and Assistant County Attorney John Rice.
