Waterfront, downtown planning open house is Feb. 1

Feb. 1 will be a big day for the long-range downtown and waterfront planning approved by the City Council in November.
Stantec, the firm contracted to develop the plan, will conduct workshops and focus groups during the day. A 6:30 p.m. open house will follow at City Hall.
“It’s essentially the community kickoff” to the project, said Megan Smith, interim Planning and Community Development Director for the City of Lake City.
