Woodland managers of the year named at Forestry Day
Jim and Bonnie (Yvonne) Krulish of rural Weaver were named the 2017 Woodland Managers of the Year at the annual Wabasha County Forestry Day Program held in Millville last Friday.
Krulish’s farm 160 acres on the blufftop just west of Weaver and north of County Rd. 26.
Here are a few details about the Krulish’s farming operation:
• Purchased the 160-acre farm (Yvonne’s home farm) in 1988
• 132 acres wooded
• 16 acres Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) open land
• 6.5 acres CRP trees
