Y gets more funding for pool operations

The city will reimburse the Red Wing YMCA a total of about $29,500 for operating the city’s swimming pool during the 2019 summer season.
When the city and the YMCA reached an agreement for the YMCA to take charge of pool programming, the city earmarked $15,000 knowing that the actual cost would vary.
In the end, the YMCA’s expenditures almost doubled that.
