Zumbro Falls fire chief retires after 43 years on the job

Bruce Heitmann finally has more time to go fishing.
He retired Dec. 31 after more than 43 years on the Zumbro Falls Fire Department, having served his city, plus Millville, Hammond and the surrounding area in Wabasha County, and holding every rank on the department.
