Letter: Make masks mandatory
Please join me in urging Mayor Mark Nichols to implement a mandatory mask order in Lake City.
Winona Mayor Mark Peterson announced a citywide mask order to begin Friday, July 10, joining Rochester and Mankato. These orders require all residents and visitors to wear face coverings indoors in public buildings and anywhere physical distancing is difficult including outdoors.
We are still in the grips of a pandemic. This virus is very dangerous. Do not let yourself get into a state of false complacency.
