Undocumented immigrants deserve dignity

We wanted to respond to the letter to the editor sent in last week about Minnesota state lawmakers discussing a sanctuary state bill, called the North Star Act discussed in a Star Tribune article titled “Hennepin County, Minneapolis leaders back Minnesota sanctuary state proposal.”
We appreciate the writer’s concerns and also encourage community members to read the well-written article and do some critical thinking and research on this issue.
