Most letters to the editor begin by being critical of some issue and or action or lack of action on something. However, I am choosing not to begin that way but by offering a grateful thank you to the many people who have reached out to me over this past week. I am deeply humbled and very appreciative of their outpouring of positive comments, public statements and attendance at the one ring circus vote taken by the Council on July 8. Those people as well as many others in our community know that I am not a disrespectful person.
