Facts, not hearsay, needed to evaluate county attorney

I have followed with interest the Wabasha County Board meetings’ discussion about the county attorney salary.
I must admit I am puzzled by the words “I heard.” How about facts? Request six years of records on cases closed by plea bargain and trial, plus the cost for each. Then follow it up with the recidivism rate.
We as citizens deserve better than an “I heard” fact. Give us the truth about whether the county attorney is serving our interest.
