Letter: Lawmakers must weigh in on healthcare cuts
To the editor:
Congress is soon to take another vote on health care. As I anticipate major changes to the existing Affordable Care Act (if not full repeal), I am hoping to hear from our state and federal elected officials on the real impact to us.
If significant cuts are made to Medicaid (MA program in Minnesota), will our State Legislators be ready to fill in the gap of funding?
As citizens, will we be ready to accept our elderly (parents and grandparents) into our own homes to provide for their care?
