Letter: Vote yes for today, yes for tomorrow
To the editor:
On Nov. 7, the Lake City Public Schools will be asking for our support implementing sweeping improvements to our elementary school facilities. A yes vote will not only improve the quality of education for all our current young learners, but will allow for a greater reach to inspire and educate the growing numbers of new children within our community.
I am myself a transplant, raised in Rochester and moved to Lake City in 2009. While the growth of Rochester is fairly stunning, the changes in Lake City are similarly apparent.
