Dinner to benefit cancer-stricken wrestler

A spaghetti dinner to raise money for a wrestler battling cancer will be Friday, Feb. 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lincoln High School cafeteria.

According to a poster for the event, Jacob Allen was diagnosed with PEcoma cancer in November of last year. Surgery removed the tumor and he is now undergoing radiation treatments.

Freewill donations raised at the dinner will help Allen’s family with “costs associated with ongoing travel to Rochester for radiation treatments and physical therapy,” according to the poster.
