Letter: Block 13 should become a small-town jewel

To the editor:
I’ve been asked my opinion regarding the best use of the old Conoco station property generously donated to Lake City by Kwik Trip Inc. It occupies the west side of Block 13 on Lakeshore drive across from Fiesta Foods.
The lake-facing east side of the same block is private Rodewald property. My following opinions about site reuse are derived from personal experience as a regional and national redevelopment consultant.
