Letter: DeVinny an excellent choice for City Council

To the editor:
In response to the letter from Jake Mead (“Council missed an opportunity with Mead,” Feb. 14): as Mayor Nichols so succinctly and tactfully explained at the city council meeting, the council is governed by a charter. That charter is the blueprint they must follow.
