Linda Newton obituary

Linda “Susie” Newton, formerly of Lake City, passed away on August 13, 2026 at United Hospital in Saint Paul. She was 68 years old.
Linda Susan Beaulieu was born on May 9, 1958 to Clifford Sr., and Irene (Corey) Beaulieu, in Lake City, Minnesota. She was one of thirteen children. She was raised and educated in the Lake City area and then spread her wings and began to travel and experience life. Susie was loved by many and family was important to her. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Susie is survived by her two sons, Michael and Grant Newton; siblings, Sander Standler, Lynn Smith, Clifford “George” Beaulieu Jr., Gwen Noble, Steven Beaulieu, Burl Beaulieu, Mark Beaulieu, Candy Stubstad and Jeff Beaulieu; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Susie is preceded in death by her siblings, Cherie Beaulieu, Ava Beaulieu and Gregory Beaulieu.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Lake City. Mahn Family Funeral Home - Anderson-Peterson Chapel, Lake City is entrusted with arrangements. www.MahnFamilyFuneralHome.com.
