This may be my last utterance regarding Highway 61 and the future of Lake City.
I have written numerous pieces about the negative impact this highway has on our city. A recent event gave me a moment of epiphany, a different tack to employ, if you will.

A big thank you to Lake City Area Arts for sponsoring the Loudmouth Brass at Patton Park Wednesday evening. I noticed the library had a concert there last week as well. I can not think of a better place for people to gather for a nice evening of music.
