To the editor:

Hi Lake City,

I’m Amy Kohrs Alkire. I’m running for City Council and I’d like to introduce myself.

I grew up on my parents’ dairy farm in rural Lake City. I graduated from Lincoln High School in 1995. After graduating from college, I taught high school social studies and earned a masters in education. Since 2009, I’ve worked in major gift fundraising for non-profits, mostly in higher education.
