Letter: Ignoring problems isn't solving anything

To the editor:
Well, one word could sum up U.S. Rep. Jason Lewis’ first town hall meeting: Surreal. First, district attendees were required to apply online for a “ticket” to attend the town hall. Constituents had five days to apply. I had heard that not everyone was given a requested seat, which was odd due to the fact that of the approximate 70 chairs in the room, easily 20 or more were empty.
