Letter: Mother Nature's garden
To the editor:
The Monopoly money was getting wrinkled and worn and the Parcheesi board scarred, there were cards missing from the Old Maid deck, marbles from the Chinese Checkers were mismatched.
Winter had been long and cold. I don’t know who was more excited for kids to go outside, kids or moms.
That first balmy spring day my friends and I decided to explore the hillsides between Lake City and Wabasha.
There were no buildings back then just miles of woods.
