PUBLIC NOTICE • Notice is hereby given that the Florence Township Planning Commission will be holding a second and final public hearing on the proposed Short-term Rental Property Ordinance. The hearing will be held at the regular meeting on Monday, December 12th  at 6:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, 33915 Highway 61 Blvd., Frontenac. MN 55026.The purpose of the ordinance is “to allow a limited number of residences to be rented on a short-term basis to the extent consistent with the comprehensive plan the the existing residential, agricultural and historic district zoning, while also mitigating impacts upon surrounding properties by implementing balanced rules and regulations for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the community.
