5th grade traveling boys win Great Northwest Tournament

The Lake City fifth grade boys traveling basketball team won the Great Northwest Basketball League tournament on Saturday, Jan. 23 at St. Croix Central in Hammond, Wis. They beat River Falls in their opening game 22-16.  They also beat Baldwin-Woodville 30-18 and Ellsworth 40-21 to capture first place.
