85 participate in first annual youth ice fishing tourney
Eighty-five youth anglers in age groups 10 and under and 11 to 18 registered and competed in the first annual Lake City Youth Ice Fishing event held at the Lake City Marina on Feb. 20.
The event was organized and run by the Lake City Youth Fishing team, coaches Josh Rodewald and Damian Fitterer, families, and volunteers.
“The event was a huge success with many youth and families from Lake City and surrounding communities showing up for this first annual youth fishing event,” the team said in a news release.
