8U baseball team wins Rollingstone tournament
The Lake City 8U Black Baseball Team played in their first tournament of the year on Sunday, June 18.
They advanced to the championship game by defeating Lewiston-Altura and La Crescent Kramer.
The championship game was delayed until Monday evening because of rain, and when they returned to Rollingstone, they defeated La Crescent Hatzinger with a tournament winning walk off single in the bottom of the fourth inning, which scored two runs.
