AA state tournament bracket information
The Minnesota Class AA State Tournament began Wednesday, March 20 in Minneapolis. Lake City received the fifth seed in the eight team tournament and faced fourth-seed Melrose (26-4) at 8 p.m. at Target Center.
The Dutchmen have won eight consecutive West Central Conference championships and enter the tournament on an 18-game winning streak. The Tigers will need to slow dynamic point guard Preston Keaveny, who averages 20 points per contest.
