After losing season opener, Tiger baseball team sweeps double-header
The Lake City varsity baseball team dropped its season opener last Tuesday, April 7, to Byron, 6–1, but responded with an impressive bounce-back performance on Saturday, April 11, earning two key section wins over Cotter (8–6) and Dover-Eyota (11–1).

Battling cold and windy conditions to open the season, Lake City struggled defensively, allowing Byron to capitalize in a 6–1 loss. Despite the outcome, the Tigers received strong pitching throughout the game.
