Another week, another win for Tiger football team
Following a historic win to start the season, Lake City continued to fire on all cylinders in week two as the Tigers breezed past La Crescent for a 39-12 road victory last Friday night.
The Tigers dominated the opening quarter of play and wasted little time getting on the scoreboard. Justin Wohlers capped a five-play, 55-yard drive that took just 1:45 with an eight-yard touchdown run. Carson Matzke’s extra point sailed wide right, but Lake City opened a 6-0 lead with 10:15 to play in the first quarter.
