Balanced attack leads boys over unbeaten Stewartville

For the second consecutive game Lake City rode a balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures to post a 57-44 victory at home on Tuesday night at Lincoln High School against previously unbeaten Stewartville.

Lake City, which never trailed in the contest, got off to an early 8-3 lead behind two baskets by Mitch Marien and a triple by Reid Gastner. A three-pointer by Isaac Bussan trimmed the Lake City lead to 10-8 as the game reached the midway point of the first half.
