Balow 2nd, Harvey 5th at state wrestling tournament
The state Class AA wrestling tournament took place Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, with two Lake City Tiger wrestlers competing.
Jonathan Harvey qualified at 160 and Max Balow qualified at 285 with their Section 1AA championships.
Jon, competing in his 4th state tournament, opened with a major decision 9-1 victory over Avery Wittnebel of Dawson Boyd Lac Qui Parle Montevideo before losing in the quarterfinals to Travis Smith of Simley by the score of 9-2.
